Mike, why are you so sad?

Gather round kids and I will tell you my tale...

I will be going to a lot more games this seasons thanks to my secret source hooking me up with tickets so I thought i'd start a blog an keep you all entertained with my witty observations...alas this will not always be the case.

I work 2 in 4 Saturdays so will not be able to make as many games as I'd like, this Saturday was one of those occasions.

Saints are renowned for having awful starts to the season so this game against Leeds had most fans fearing the worst...how wrong were we???

By all accounts we absolutely pumped them with Lallana being the star of the show, he was also the recipient  of the worst headline ever in today's paper...

"Lallana's Banana"

This was in honour of his fantastic bending goal.

Good start to the season but I won't get carried away...yet!
